There are some important meetings for the upcoming hearings on the comprehensive smokefree air ordinance for the city of Evansville.
The dates for the City Council meetings are:
Both meetings will take place in room 301 of the Civic Center. It’s recommend to arrive between 4:30-5 p.m. to get a seat. We need to fill the room with supporters. If this ordinance passes we will have one of the strongest local smokefree air laws in the country!
If you are not able to attend the meetings & support the smokefree ordinance, please consider sending an email or making a phone call to the city council.
